Allahabadi Chaat is distinct. The epicenter is Loknath Gali in the Chowk area. The specialty here is the 'Dahi Sonth Ke Batashe'—crispy hollow puri shells filled with spiced yogurt and a thick, dry ginger and tamarind chutney (Sonth).
The Aloo Tikki here is also special; it is often fried in large flat pans using pure Desi Ghee until the outer layer is dark brown and incredibly crunchy, while the inside remains soft. Nirala's Chaat is a must-visit institution.
The sacred confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and mythical Saraswati. The distinct colors of the rivers are visible where they meet mid-stream.

A massive fort built by Emperor Akbar in 1583 on the banks of the confluence. It houses the immortal 'Akshaya Vat' tree and the Patalpuri Temple.

The historic ancestral home of the Nehru-Gandhi family. A pilgrimage site for those interested in India's freedom struggle.
