
Dal Pitha is the Bihari dumpling. It consists of an outer shell made of rice flour dough, stuffed with a spicy mixture of Chana Dal (split chickpeas), ginger, and green chilies. The dumplings are then steamed.
They are healthy, vegan, and oil-free. Often eaten with chutney or chai during the winter months.
