The complex houses a massive library ('Ayodhya Shodh Sansthan') which is a treasure trove for scholars researching the Ramayana. It contains ancient manuscripts and rare editions of the epic.
The most unique feature is the 'Ramleela' performance held here every single evening of the year. Visitors can walk in at any time to watch the enactment of the epic, keeping the oral tradition alive daily. It also houses a museum of puppets used in Ramleela.
